Abstract:
This article discusses the engineering feasibility in diesel engine with commonly adopted combustion chambers to be fuelled by neat alcohol. On the basis of the testing results of L195 ciesel engine tn be fuelled by neat alcohol, with the aid of high pressure injection and spark-assisted ignition, the main performances and indexes were expounded. The paper theoretically discussed the characteristics and influence factors of the forming of alcohol-air mixture, firing, brake output, thermal efficience and operational performances.
