Abstract:
According to experiment, it is found that a relationship between apparent viscosity η′(Pa.s) and temperature T (℃) for Nanjing honeys is existed as following formula: η′= Be
-AT (1) where A and B are coefficients to be determined by experiments.Further analyses show that the above formula can be rewritten into following simpler form: η′=Be
-0.079T (2) where 0.079 is the mean vatue of coefficient A.The apparent viscosity for a honey at a specified temperature can be calculated according to formula(2) after its apparent viscosity has been measured at a certain room temperature.
