    STUDY AND APPLICATION ON DLEAYED LIGHT EMISSION PROPERTIES OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES OVERSEAS

    • 摘要: 果蔬的成熟度及颜色,影响着它的贮运和销售,与经济效益密切相关。利用植物受光辐射后存在短暂、微弱的延迟发光特性(DLE),可对果蔬按成熟度及颜色等内,外品质进行无损检测和分级。本文介绍了DLE的基本特性,产生机制,检测装置,测试方法以及对香蕉、桔子测试的实例。此法的优点是:适应性广,测量速度快,对光源和探测器要求不高,分级误差小,便于实现机械化。

       

      Abstract: The maturity and color of fruits and vegetables influence their storage, transport and market effects.These are closely related to the economic benefits of these products.The characteristics of the delayed light emission (DLE) which is emitted from green plants several seconds after excitation can be used to evalute and grade fruits and vegetables according to their maturity and color nondestructively. In this paper , the fundamental characteristics of DLE, the mechanism of emission, the experimental apparatus and the method of measurement are presented. The paper also give the evaluation and grading of banana and orange with DLE as examples. The advantages of this method are wide adaptability, fast measurement, common light source and detector, high precision and suitable for mechanization.
