Abstract: The paper states the importance of agricultural engineering technology in the deve lopment of Chinese agriculture. From the macroscopic point of view, the paper analyses the present situation of Chinese natural agricultural resources, their features and the potentials in exploitation. Based on this scientific and synthetic summarization, the paper presents the way of how to lay out the overall arrangement and its strategy of the agricultural regional deve -Ippment in China. The paper especially mentions that the technological development of facility agriculture and the processing or the deep processing of agricultural products will have broad prospects.
