Abstract: Container seedling growing and transplanting system is better in the yield than plant bed seedling growing and bare root seedling transplanting system and the air - pruning tray seedling growing and transplanting system is better in the yield than conventional tray seedling growing and transplanting system.The principle and advantages of air - pruning tray seedling growing system are introduced and analysed in this paper.Based on Dr.Barney K.Huang's eight patents, the authors develop the commercial products of air -pruning tray seedling growing and transplanting system, including air - pruning seedling growing tray, compressed peat pellet, mechanical precision automatic tray seeder and fully - automatic precision transplanter. These products are introduced in detail in this paper.
