Abstract: This paper studied the method that the stress propagation velocity of tillage soil was obtained by means of the cross-correlation function or cross-spectral function of Raylight wave impulse responses about two point of l₂ interval. The stress propagation velocity of various soil was measured by means of the method. Measured result was applied in the study on soil high speed cutting mechanism.
