    Fractal Dimensions and Spatial and Temporal Variability of Soil Properties

    • 摘要: 论述了几种经典分维的定义及计算方法,阐明了传统分析土壤特性时空变异性不足之处,介绍了近几年来用分维度量土壤特性时空变异性的一些成果,并对分维在今后土壤特性时空变异性中的应用前景作了展望。

       

      Abstract: Fractal dimension is the most important concept and idea in fractal theory, and a chief index in measuring fractals. A few classical fractals and calculations of fractal dimensions were described. The defect of the traditional statistical method in analysing the spatial and temporal variability of soil properties (STVSP) , was pointed out, and some fractal dimension in STVSP. It was predected that fractal dimensions would be widely used in STVSP.
