Abstract: This paper presents an expert system (CALCS) developed for linear classification of cow appearance. On the basis of evaluation standards of linear classification and viewpoints of experts, CALCS can give concrete evaluated-values of cow appearance by means of the inference mechanism. The realization of CALCS shows that it is very effective and available.
