Abstract: The paper conducts tests showing how performances are influenced by working parameters of a straw chopper on self-made test equipment. On the basis of testing results and analyses of working mechanism, the paper gives main working parameters, such as hight of entrance, hight of surplus stubble, clearance of working cavity, linear Cutting velocity of the blades, and structure parameters of the blades.
