Abstract: It was developed that the shearing model of double side wedge soil cutting for up cut rotary cultivation. Methods to calculate the soil cutting load,power consumption and soil strain of up-cut rotary tillage were put forward also. It was verified through soil cutting test that the calculating results were in agreement with test results.
