Abstract: The development of Agricultural Engineering towards Biological Engineering is getting evident and the philosophical foundations in establishment of biological engineering curriculum are the hot topics in U．S． The origin and possibility of such a development and the conceptual framework for that curriculum are discussed． The interface between engineer and biologist and the relationship between biological and agricultural engineerings are briefied．
