Abstract: Based on summarizing traditional cultivation experiences for soil moisture conservation and the locating field experiments for many years in the west parts of Henan Province, a cultivation method, that is early deep tillage and early fertilization during summer fallow period once a year, was pointed out in this paper. The productive demonstration in large areas indicated that this cultivation method had obvious effects of precipitation collection, soil moisture conservation and yield raising. 
