Abstract: It was pointed that the phosphating has an important role on the painting quality of agricultural vehicle body. The mechanism of the lowtemperature phosphating and the main factors affecting the phosphating process have been analysed．The optimum formula is of low cost and fine performance. It was indicated that the lowtemperature phosphating possesses a great technical and economic value and social profits in the manufacture of agricultural vehicle．
