Abstract: A new type of flailthrow cuts that can be applied to corn greenfeed harvesting was expounded,the design principle and the working process on this cuts was analyzed in detail. The structure of this cuts is “right angle and blade” combined shovel model and there are two sword blades. This flailthrow cuts is not only the cuting up set,　but also the casting vanes.　It realized the working principle of cuting，　shattering and throwtransporting to corn straws.　According to the field experiments and analysis on working parameters,the main influence factors of the working quality of the flailthrow cuts were demonstrated. As a new type of cut and knife set, it was applied on the corn greenfeed harvester model 9QS-1．
