Abstract: In order to solve the problems lacking the characteristics of judgements of fatigue failures of rubber vibration absorbers used in heavy duty crawlertype tractors,　the researches to investigate the characteristics of fatigue failures for the absorbers were conducted. The characteristics were determined according to the mechanisms analyzing of fatigue failures and the experiment studies. Finally,the successful results were obtained in practical applications.
