    Advances in Pulse Combustion Drying

    • 摘要: 脉动燃烧干燥是一种新型、高效干燥技术,是利用脉动燃烧产生的高温、高速振荡气流对物料进行干燥的。该文介绍了已开发应用的脉动燃烧干燥器类型;从能耗、干燥速率、对物料的适应性及干后物料品质等方面对脉动燃烧干燥与传统干燥过程进行了比较;概述了脉动燃烧干燥的优点,指出了研究中的不足和今后研究方向。

       

      Abstract: Pulse combustion drying is a novel, efficient drying method which makes use of a strong oscillating flow field with high temperature caused by a pulse combustor to dry materials. In this paper, the advances in research on pulse combustion drying were reviewed and the various forms of dryer with pulse combustor were introduced and discussed. The data features of pulse combustion drying from literature in terms of its energy consumption, drying rate,scope of feedstocks and quality retention were compared with some conventional drying processes. The exsiting problems and the trends in research and development were also discussed.
