Abstract: The paper introduces aspects of phytoremediation such as its concept, its meanings, and research methodology. The advantages, disadvantages, and controlling factors of phytoremediation are discussed in the paper. It is pointed out that the introduction of agrobiological environmental engineering means into phytoremediation greatly improved the relative efficiency.
