Abstract: The compressing force, compressing deformation and recovering of hay compressed at the different position of compressing chamber varied from first compressing to hay compressed departing from the chamber. In the paper the above parameters were measured using electric measurement technology, and the regular patterns of appropriate parameters were obtained. It is important for designing the length of chamber and determining the optimum position of mounting knotter.
