Abstract: With the specialization of image processing technique, the decrease of the cost of computer hardware, and the heightening of the speed of computer, the application of machine vision technique to quality identification of agricultural products has become more and more attractive. According to the three different fields——defect and damage detection, size and area measurement, and color judgement, the research advancements were reviewed in this paper. At last, this paper presented the subject and field needed to research.
