Abstract: The problems faced to agricultural sustainable development and the requirement for agricultural information technology in Guangdong Province were analyzed. According to the knowledge of current situation and shortfall of developing agricultural information technology in Guangdong Province, the strategies and measures of developing agricultural information technology were proposed. The viewpoint of start with establishing agricultural science and education network and researching and implementing precision agriculture, and emphatically constructing high technologies example base of experiment and energetically developing the information resources of network were put forward.
