Abstract: Through analyzing the present situation of research on the impact of water saving irrigation on farmland ecological environment, this paper put forward some suggestions. The major problems should be researched as follows, comprehensive analyses of the impact of water saving irrigation on farmland ecological environment, the transform law among surface water, ground water, soil water in water saving irrigation, regular pattern of soil salinization in water saving irrigation, the mechanism of output increasing and impact on environment under plastic mulch, farmland water resource management considering farmland ecological environment.
