Abstract:
The experimental investigations in the characteristics of heat transfer and frictional resistance of the plate fin type air to air heat exchanger for thermal energy recovery in the ventilation system of livestock house, were conducted. All the test results were analyzed. The rule of the performance parameters——the film coefficient of sensible heat transfer for the dry condition and the average frictional coefficient for the dry and the wet condition varying with the working parameters was obtained. The achievements in the research will provide the theoretical basis for designing the plate fin type air to air heat exchanger for thermal energy recovery in the ventilation system of livestock house.
