Abstract:
With the rapid development of industrialized agriculture in China, there are more and more demands for techniques of greenhouse environment control and decision-making support management. In general, the status of the industrialized agriculture in China is still remaining at the relatively low-level stage, particularly in some aspects of key instruments, control techniques as well as management countermeasures. In order to realize optimal management for greenhouse tomato production, the study was conducted to develop a computer aided decision-making support system based on an on-line data logging system. The system, on the one hand, possesses integrated functions of data acquisition, data saving, and chart displaying, and on the other hand, it provides real time decision-making support and management information service. The results show that most of designed specifications for the system is satisfactory after long-time operation in a greenhouse. However there are still a lot of aspects that need to be improved including the construction of knowledge and data base as well as the selection and manufacture of sensors.
