Abstract:
The preliminary sediment from distillery wastes in alcohol production with dry cassava was taken as experimental material. The effect of conditioning on filtration-dehydration of this sediment was probed. The results showed that using CPAM as conditioner the filtration rate was obviously increased and the water content of filter cake was reduced. Based on the test data, the semi-empirical equation for relationship between volume of filtrate and filtration-dehydration time was established.
