Abstract: The relevent relationship between food processing and postharvest processing of agro products is discussed.It is pointed out that food processing is one of the most important parts of postharvest processing of agro products,but can not embrace it.Food processing originates from the postharvest processing of agro products and is much more and deeper than it.Being the best combination of macro agriculture and macro food,postharvest processing of agro products plays more and more important roles in the progress from traditional agriculture to modernized agriculture.Only by the establishment of the idea of macro agriculture and the carrying out of industrialized management of agriculture,could the intensive and high efficiency increasement be realized.
