Abstract: This paper briefly introduced harms of plastic film residue to agricultural production, and importance of studying on the plastic film residue collector, and some issues that must be thought over when design the plastic film residue collector. At the same time, the present situation of plastic film residue collector in China, plastic film residue collecting mechanism, types and working characteristics of all working parts were introduced. All these can offer reference for designing the collector and optimized combination with main working parts.
