Abstract: Automatic system of hydrological data collection and transmission has become one of important non-engineering measures in improving control level of the irrigated area. On the basis of lots of scientific studies, this research puts forward optimized project of Weishan irrigated area in station-layout, equipment-selection, communication-mode and reasonable system integration technique. The successful application of this project showed that it was very important to select electron devices and communication-mode in automatic system of hydrological data collection and transmission.
