Abstract:
Based on the existing national and international research on greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction and other studies on energy, this paper analyzes the GHG emission co-efficiencies from fuel combustion and CH
4 emission co-efficiencies from animal waste and works out the systematic and feasible CO
2 and CH
4 calculation formulas that are suitable for the special features of rural renewable energy development in China. In addition, with the emission co-efficiencies and calculation formula, the paper presents the contribution of the renewable energy facilities and projects constructed in the whole China to national GHG emission reduction.
