Advances in the application of computer-vision to plant growth monitoring

  • 摘要: 该文从作物外部生长参数测量、果实成熟度检测、作物营养状态监测及作物形状描述与识别等几个方面介绍了国内外计算机视觉技术在作物生长监测中的研究进展,认为具有启发式、智能化特点的彩色图像处理技术将会成为计算机视觉技术应用于设施农业领域的研究热点。
    Abstract: The paper presented the advances in the application of computer-vision to the monitoring plant growth areas such as the measuring of plants' exterior growing parameters, the detection of fruit maturity, the monitoring of plant nutrition and the shape description and identification for plants. The heuristic and intelligent color image processing techniques were considered to have promising applications in protected agriculture.
