    Influence of small features on crop area estimation at a national scale using remote sensing and a double sampling method

    • 摘要: 在大尺度作物面积遥感监测中,一般采用抽样方法。由于小地物在影像上无法识别或难以量算,形成样本误差而影响总体面积的估计。改进的措施是采用双重抽样的方法,即在抽样设计中,首先控制作物样本精度,从而消除或减小小地物影响,进而获得较准确的作物面积绝对值。

       

      Abstract: Sampling methods are normally used in crop area estimation using remote sensing at a national or provincial level. Because some small features in crops are difficult to identify or to measure on images, the errors influence the crop area estimation results. A double sampling method is suggested in this paper. The first step is to do a small features sampling in samples using GPS measurements and the total crop area is estimated using the more accurate samples.
