Abstract: The conception of precision fertilization and its theory system were first introduced in this paper, and then emphasis was put on the research progress of crop and soil information collecting and several nitrogen recommendation algorithms based on the remote sensing technology. The challenge and future development trends of precision fertilization were also discussed and the perspective of precision fertilization in China was further explored.
