Abstract:
In Chinese solar greenhouse, the pot experiment about the effects of different soil moistures on transpiration(Ts) and yield was conducted during four growing stages of cucumber: early-florescence stage, early-fruit stage, exuberant-fruit stage and late-fruit stage. The results showed that the amounts of water consumption in early-florescence and early-fruit stage were lower than that at late-fruit stage, and at exuberant-fruit stage the amount of water consumption was the highest. The relationship between the total yield and the total amount of water consumption was quadratic parabola, and the optimal irrigation amount was 393 mm. Water sensitivity indices went down successively from exuberant-fruit stage, late-fruit stage, early-fruit stage to early-florescence stage, which was similar to the pattern of water consumption.
