Abstract: The consolidation of country residential areas is one of important work for country land consolidation. The country residential areas have different distributing feature in different regions of physiognomy types. The evolution of residential areas is different because of the different economical and social development. The country residential areas consolidation is influenced by a lot of conditions. This paper focuses on the factors of the course of urbanization, modernization level of agriculture, the characteristics of industry structure, city sprawl and gives a systematical analysis on the realism driving force of country residential areas consolidation in Shunyi district, Beijing city, which based on the study on the feature of country residential areas distributing and the chief problems in land useing.
