Abstract: Performance assessment of rural electric network makes sense in layout and reconstruction of rural electric network. Considering the differences of the various networks, this paper brings forward the model based on interval mathematics for synthetical fuzzy assessment of the rural electric network performance and the method to normalize the interval number and to compare two interval numbers. This paper presents the steps to achieve the performance assessment of rural electric network integrating with the example. The results show that the method can roundly consider the characteristics of various rural electric networks, and the assessment result is more scientific, reasonable and objective.
