Abstract:
Emitter is the key part of the trickle irrigation system, its structural forms and hydraulic performance greatly influence the performance of trickle irrigation system. In this paper, several typical structural forms were studied through experiments. Results showed that the structural form of flow passage, including the structure shape, structure angle, space between structure, structure height and the depth of flow passage, are the main factor which influence emitter flow state exponent, and the length of flow passage has little influence on emitter flow state exponent. This paper also analyzed anti-clogging performances of emitters by contrasting the exponent of flow state, the length of flow passage, and cross-section area of different emitters. Finally, regression model describing the relationship among flow rate, the length of flow passage, and work pressure was set up.
