Abstract:
There were many applications of remote sensing data to land use dynamic monitoring in China. But it was not so successful at scale 1∶10000 application because of the resolution of remote sensing image. The paper discussed the method and the process of using SPOT5 multi-spectral bands image and early aerial image at scale 1∶10000 land use dynamic monitoring. The results of a case study on Yingzhou district, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province show that the new method for image fusion of SPOT5 image and aerial image is feasible for dynamic monitoring of land use changes.
