Abstract: Huqie No.2 and Huqie No.3 are good eggplant hybrids F₁ suitable for protected and open culture at home and abroad. Fruit weight, fruit number per plant of Huqie No.2 and Huqie No.3 are respectively 153.0 g, 18.7 and 166.5 g, 16.1. The above two hybrids F₁ are characterized by early maturity, long rod shaped fruit, dark black purple fruit skin under poor light condition in spring, high luster, straight and good marketable fruit with high content of dry weight and soluble total sugar, high lasting fruiting ability, high yield at early stage and total yield.
