夏季运动场遮阳对舍饲小尾寒羊行为和生理指标的影响

    Effects of sheepcot shade on behavior and physiological indexes of Chinese little fat-tailed sheep in housing system during summer

    • 摘要: 为改善运动场的热湿环境,减少太阳辐射给舍饲小尾寒羊造成的热应激,该文作者于2004年夏季在内蒙古赤峰市某规模化羊场,采用了运动场架设遮阳棚的方式。该试验着重对遮阳棚(试验组)和露天运动场(对照组)的温热环境,以及小尾寒羊的行为和生理指标等方面进行了测试分析。试验结果表明,架设遮阳棚后,可以明显地改善舍饲运动场的热湿环境,遮阳棚内的温湿指数(THI)、辐照度和地面温度均显著小于露天运动场;遮阳棚可以使小尾寒羊比较稳定地休息与反刍,同时随着外界环境THI值的增大,选择遮阳棚的羊的数量以及羊在遮阳棚内的活动时间都随之增加;运动场遮阳有利于减缓小尾寒羊的生理应激,可以使小尾寒羊在高温时段保持正常的生理指标。

       

      Abstract: Sheepcot shade was adopted on an intensive sheep farm in Inner Mongolia in order to improve thermal environment of sheepcot and reduce the detrimental impact of heat stress on Chinese little fat-tailed sheep by solar radiation during summer 2004. Thermal environment, behavior and physiological indexes of Chinese little fat-tailed sheep were measured in shaded (experimental group) and non-shaded (control group) sheepcot respectively. The results show that provision of shade could minimize the adverse effects of high solar radiation on thermal balance and behavior. Ambient temperature, solar radiation and floor temperature were significantly less in shaded than in non-shaded sheepcot. The percentage of sheep and the period of time that sheep spent in shade all increased with environmental temperature-hunidity index. Sheepcot shade can relax the physiological stress of Chinese little fat-tailed sheep, and provision of shade could help Chinese little fat-tailed sheep to keep the physiological indexes within the normal ranges during high temperature.
