Abstract: Compared with traditional inspection methods,the technique of detecting acoustic signals of pests in stored grain attracts increasing attention because of characteristics of its simplicity, rapidness, cheapness, accuracy, etc. Based on literature published on stored grain insect sound detection technology in different periodicals, and the research work done by authors, the history and development of studies on stored grain insect sound detection technology were briefly analyzed. The new problems to be solved and prospects of stored grain insect sound detection technology were presented.
