Abstract: With the development of urbanization, land utilization and the value of ecosystem service have changed in different locations. Sustainable regional development is subject to changes in the value of ecosystem service. Taking Beijing as an example, the unit ecosystem service value was being evaluated by the appraising methods of payment willing and was being adjusted by the economics model. Furthermore, the changes in land utilization and eco-service value were analyzed in Beijing from 1993 to 2003, and what effects the former on the latter were analyzed as well. The results indicate that ecosystem service value is determined by land utilization and manifest the degree of land utilization. Land use adjustment approaches were also analyzed to improve eco-services in different locations. Finally, the strategy of land utilization adjustment was put forward to maintain sustainable development on eco-services in different locations in Beijing.
