Abstract:
Artificial montmorillonite(M) was used as raw material to prepare montmorillonite nanocomposite(MN) via Na-modification and pillar composition. The microstructure and adsorption ability of MN were determined by characterization and adsorption test. The results showed that the
d(001) valueand specific surface area of MN were 1.96 nm and 149.68 m
2/g respectively, andthe MN had larger pore volume, narrower pore diameter and higher micropore thanthose of the M. Adsorption test also showed that the adsorption capacity and rate of MN to aflatoxin were significantly better than those of the M. These findings suggested that MN could be a potential adsorbent with excellent properties.
