Abstract: Livestock environment is one of the key factors that pushes livestock raising to develop spanningly. But in practice, this aspect is not paid attention greatly,which restrained the development of stockbreeding. Establishing the standandization system of livestock environment is one feasible way to solve this problem. In this paper, the meaning of standardization of China's livestock environment and its key role in the sustained development of animal husbandry industry and safe production of animal products were briefly reviewed. Several problems in the standardization of China's livestock environment were analyzed. The problems were mainly as follows: standard system establishment, standard conformity and quality, standard implement and monitoring network establishment. Finally, the countermeasures and suggestions in the standardization of China's livestock environment were provided.
