Based on the TN and P

5 contents of animal manure and the TN and P
2O
5 demands of different groups of crops in Shanghai suburbs, the suitable areas for cropland application of animal manure was analyzed and evaluated. The results show that, the areas for cropland application of animal manure based on the P
2O
5 demands of crops is more than that based on TN demands of crops, and is adopted as the suitable areas for cropland application of animal manure according to the cask theory of nutrient absorption of crops, which could reduce the potential loss of phosphorus and environment pollution.
