Abstract:
In order to conduct research on response characteristics of hydraulic power steering system when fore wheels are shocked, the characteristic of power steering gear under the road excitation of ladder road is researched with test ways. The characteristics of steering angle, steering torque and the pressure in cylinder were analyzed when the steering wheel was held or not in the testing. The result shows that the hydraulic power steering gear could absorb road excitation well. This research technique and result could provide references for wheel tractor bridging over balk, obstacle etc.
