Abstract:
To improve the precision of soil infiltration parameters estimation in furrow irrigation and narrow the simulation error of furrow irrigation. In this paper, based on the water balance equation, infiltration parameters from advance and runoff model (IPARM) method was used to estimate the soil permeation parameters of Kostiakov-Lewis equation in furrow irrigation, according to a set of field furrow irrigation data to estimate the parameters, and utilizing WinSRFR1.1 software to simulate the water flow in furrow irrigation. Results show that the accuracy of infiltration parameters estimated with water advance and runoff data is higher than that estimated with water advance data only, it can improve the accuracy of accumulative infiltration simulation, and can lengthen the simulation time; and also minimize the predicted value and measured value of runoff rates of simulation, also the predict precision is relatively high. Therefore, IPARM method has higher reliability to estimate the soil infiltration parameters in furrow irrigation for the simulation and management of furrow irrigation.
