Abstract:
Crop models are useful tools in precision management of greenhouse crop production. This paper presents a review on research progresses of both structural and functional models of greenhouse vegetable crops. Researches on functional models including leaf area development, light interception, photosynthesis, respiration, dry matter partitioning, yield formation and development were summarized. Researches on structural models with emphasis on the progress from structural models to structural- functional models and the future development trends of greenhouse vegetable crop models were discussed.
