Abstract:
A new technique was developed to prepare carbon composite using bagasse or wheat straw as raw material and phenolresin or carboxymethyl cellulose as adhesive. The carbon composite was prepared and the partial properties of carbon composite such as remaining rate of carbon, density, porosity, strength and resistivity were tested at the same time. A systematic analysis of the material properties, forming mechanism and regularity of carbon composite was made. Uncovered were the effects of the formula of raw materials, the consistencies of adhesive and the temperature on the technique and the properties of carbon composite. It is shown that the bagasse and wheat straw can be used to produce carbon composite with this technique and adhesive, temperature influences the properties of carbon composite distinctly. The presented work provides useful ideas for the study of the bagasse and wheat straw.
