Abstract: In order to strengthen the management of agricultural construction project in China, current project management situation in terms of the following three aspects: the governor of the Chinese agricultural construction project management, the relationships between different governors and project management system was analysed. The main problems existing in current management system were summed up, which were the defective management system, the imperfect constraint mechanism and inadequate power of supervision in management system; the problems of management mode were caused by invsetment method, the form of management, degree of specialization and management expenses; and the problems also raised in the process of project implementation. Finally, some effective measures were proposed, i.e. perfecting regime system, strengthening management, innovating institution, which could be the policy suggestions and management reference for agricultural construction and investment management.
