Abstract:
For improving the efficiency and accuracy of information acquisition in beef cattle sector, a new approach to information acquiring and transmitting was put forward. It was the personal digital assistant (PDA) which was used to acquire the routine breeding information. And, based on finite state machine (FSM), the transmission of serial information transmission between PDA and PC was realized by event driven way. The modeling of finite state machine was emphatically studied. Changing the mode of information transmitting and acquiring in the beef cattle breeding, the transmission and acquisition was more speedy, effective and accurate and the efficiency of livestock farms management was improved.
