Abstract:
When rice seeds exposed to the electric fields, they will experience the influences of polarization force. In addition, rice seeds with different vitality will pertain different dielectric constants, thus experience different polarization strength. It was verified that the rice seeds with different vitality will suffer with different polarization force through conducting rice seeds electrostatic adsorption test with dual-electrode non-uniform electric field. After analyzing and calculating the falling off conditions when rice seeds exposed to the two-wire non-uniform electric field, we have already known the position adjustment mechanism of rice seeds and the strength of the polarization force, therefore laid a foundation for how to design the dielectric seed sorting machine.
